On MX5, MX10, MX40, MX80, and MX104 routers, MICs install directly into the router chassis. There are also fixed-configuration MPCs, with built-in network ports and services functionality- Multirate 8 x OC3/STM1 or 2 x OC12/STM4 ATM MIC, Ports 0,4 can be configured for OC12 which disables ports 1-3, 5-7, Requires S-MX80-Q license when used in MX80, (Requires a pluggable SFP optics)
